Competence in X-ray fluorescence
amtec was founded in 1991 by employees who had formerly worked in the business area of manufacturing scientific devices. They had the idea to use their expertise in the field of X-ray fluorescence for building instruments for different applications.
Apart from analyzing various materials, such as chrome-tanned leather, amtec soon attempted to establish contacts with the industry. Instruments that could measure coatings during the process, and therefore serve the quality- and production control, were particularly successful.
In order to guarantee the quality of the measuring instruments, it is vital to understand and master the internal processes of production. Consequently, having realized this fact and put it into practice, we were recently certified according to DIN-ISO 9001:2008.
